VP - Fundraising

Overview of role

The VP- Fundraising serves to coordinate all fundraising activities at CCE

Responsibilities/Tasks

  1. Attend SIPAT Board meetings (monthly)
  2. Chair & conduct Fundraising Committee meetings
    1. Write & maintain fundraising annual plan
    2. Monitor the following programs (with assistants as needed):

                                                               i.      E-scrip (Albertson’s Community Partners, Safeway)

                                                             ii.      Nugget Scrip cards

                                                            iii.      Boxtops

                                                           iv.      Davis Food CoOp paper scrip

                                                             v.      Restaurant events

  1. Annual donation program
    1. Write & distribute fund drive letter and donation cards (August & September)
    2. Write thank you notes (Ongoing throughout the year)    
    3. Send reminders to families opting for installment payments (November & March)
    4. Collect checks, copy and forward on to Treasurer (Ongoing)
    5. Maintain donation database (Ongoing)
  2. Organize/facilitate additional fundraising efforts as approved by the board
  3. Communicate dates/times to school population via newsletter and flyers
  4. Submit articles to El Noticiero Newsletter regarding fundraising efforts/status
