VP – Parent Education
Overview of role
The VP-Parent Education has task of assisting in educating the student/parent community on issues with regards to our school events, SI information, and education in general.
Responsibilities/Tasks
- Attend SIPAT Board meetings
- Kindergarten Playgroup planning & implementing
- Plan & implement events (i.e. speakers, “math night”, science night [Explorit])
- Internal communication
a. different groups
i. migrant/ESL
ii. working parents

- newsletter content & distribution
- Website
- Listserv
- Principal to school community liaison
- Member of PERA Committee
